[Enter the Memory Adept] BeforexAfter

I'm currently having Photoshop classes to improve my skills and one of the exams was to do a digital painting from a sketch. After many failed attempts and lots of headaches with shading studies, this is the final result.

The skecth was originaly from a quick comic I made about Magic the Gathering. You can see the full comic here [link]

At first it was just a plain painting. I added the shadows and highlights on Photoshop CS6, mostly mouse-made (the tablet I borrowed for this task wasn't so accurated).
